Filipinos are good in making lemonades. They are such resilient beings. Pope John Paul II tagged them as 'joyful' race. Despite nonstop calamities, government corruptions, literal and metaphorical storms and injustices and poverty, they always get by with a smile, ika nga sa isang linya ng Eraserheads.
Martyr Nyebera's? Bring it on!, sabi nga ng mga Pinoy. And they manage to weather the storm with a smile on their faces. They not only endure the bitterness of lemons, but still manage to make a lemonade out of it, enjoy the moment and make fun out of it. And I am sure this recent calamity is chicken feed. Babangon at babangon ulit.
