#12 Cleaning your ears with cotton buds.

I so love love using the cotton buds. . I look forward towards cleaning my ear. I do it before sleeping, or watching the TV, or when in front of the computer. I love the sensation of cleaning the ear. haha. Orgasmic.

Yeah, i know youre gonna say its bad cause it pushes the wax towards the inner ear. So i let an EENT check it from time to time. =)

But i think i need to stop really.

#11 Coming home and finding that your download has finished

Its the good thing with torrents and downloads. You can just leave them on their own. Just search the movie you like, click on the link and let it download. You can queue some more, not just one movie, maybe two or three. Leave and when you come back, wow it is finished. Sit back, relax and play. FREE!

#10 Having a really really fast internet

That's my office internet speed. Haha. Hello podcasts. hello downloads. P2P and torrents is blocked, but thats okay I can do that at home. =)

#9 Walang time-in, time-out sa office

Been really really  grateful about my situation with work arrangement. Yes, i don't have to time-in and time-out. I could come in late or come in earlier (usually doesnt happens! haha)

I've been a consistent latecomer =) I've been to several companies already and I've gained  that reputation. Now i don't have to wake up so early in the morning, when all you want is stay longer in bed. So free at office. And my boss is like a colleague. But that's another grateful story.

#8 Si Manong naka 98.7fm Master's Touch

When i rode the taxi today on my way to office, si manong driver naka tune in sa 98.7 FM , classical music blasting on taxi.

Cool si manong! =)

#7 Safe and dry during a typhoon

Dumaan today si Typhoon Pedring. Signal #2 ata sa Manila, am not sure kasi am not watching the news. When i woke up today, brownout. Guess medyo malakas ata dahil nagbrownout. I just found out later from checking some friends posts in facebook. Hindi ko man lang naramdaman na bumagyo! Am really grateful i have a roof over my head, and grateful that am safe and dry.

#6 Pag brownout, and then nagka ilaw

I woke up today na walang ilaw. Brownout. Ok lang naman dahil me tubig so i can still take a bath, kaso kelangan kong mamlantsa ng susuotin for office, or else baka ako magmukhang basahan at habulin ng plantsa. As i was worrying about this and about to take a bath, guess what, nagka ilaw!

#5 Free game coin from a stranger in a game arcade

The memory is still vivid in my mind. I was 7 or 8 at that time. Usong uso pa noon ang arcade games like Pacman, Green Beret, Galaga, Exerion, etc. Wala pa noon ang playstation, xbox, DS, atbp. Hulog ka ng piso for one game. Napunta kami sa bayan (sa me palengke), me and my playmates, to watch since wala kaming pera. Haha hanggang panood lang kami. Imagine, a one peso coin, wala ako. One day while watching and salivating, yearning to play, out of nowhere, this young stranger, gets from his pocket and hands over me a one peso coin.

I still could not forget this act of kindness. God bless you wherever you are!

Astig!

#4 Pagsakay mo ng jeep, ikaw yung last and sakto aalis na

When I was working with a former company, I ride the jeepney daily to and from work. The travel time was about one hour kaya kelangan mapuno ng dispatcher ang jeepney bago umalis. And sometimes it would take awhile para mapuno, sometimes around 30 mins. There were a lot of situations where when you go to the jeep terminal and sakto isa na lang ang kulang at aalis na.

#3 TED talks

I got introduced to TED.com by an officemate before in Toyota. Pero i was intimidated about the site dahil sa sobrang dami ng videos, and dont know which to watch. Also instead i spend my internet hours to other optionsions like facebook, facebook games (lols), chatting, youtube, and forums.

Past forward to two years, i got an iphone. And as i have exlained in a previous post, i stumbled upon podcasts. And one subsciption i made to was TED talks. By the way subscription is free. =) And automatically one video a day was downloaded my iphone for free. And during my bus ride home to Batangas from Manila, having nothing to do, instead of watching a Bong Revilla film or listening to the 90.7fm blasting on the bus speakers , I got introduced to awesome, passionate, cool, geeky individuals which are outstanding in their fields.

Here are some of my favorites:

So i suggest if you have an apple gadget like iphone, ipod touch, or the Ipad and a fast internet connection.. Subcribe!

#2 Cool Podcasts

I got introduced to podcasts when i bought my iphone. Lagi kong naririnig ito. Ano nga ba yung podcasts na yun? One day while exploring my iphone and Itunes (computer application ni Apple used to organize and synchronize music and video files from computer to Apple gadget), i saw Itunes store.

Further tinkering, i saw podcasts. And i subscribe to podcasts for FREE. Just click subscribe and thats it. It will automatically download newest episode available. Currently right now, am loving the following podcasts:

- TED talks
- Good times with Mo
- Good times with Mo (acoustic) with Johnoy Danao
- Victory Fort podcasts
- Chico and Delamar morning rush

You dont have to do anything. When your computer/laptop is connected to the net, just open Itunes program, and it will download automatically new episodes. And when you plug in your Apple gadget, it will synchronize the episodes to it.

I will post separate entries for these podcasts. I love them, TED talks features outstanding, awesome, passionate and brilliant people form different fields, discussing their passion. Good Times with Mo is a podcast show featuring DJ Mo Twister, and people from all walks of life phone in and discuss sex, love problems, and any other topic under the sun. Good Times acoustic features a great artist Johnoy Danao as he renders his own covers on great songs. Victory Fort uploads their Sunday services, loved their powerful messages! And Chico and Delamar, the awesome hilarious duo on the radio, gives their daily top ten.

And most of all they're FREE! Delivered to my gadget free.. =)

#1 When you pressed the elevator button, and sakto dating ng elevator agad

Living in the big city with big skyscrapers, i always use the elevator daily. Elevator sa office, elevator sa bahay. There are those time when elevator would take a really long time to appear. =) And those days when angdaming nagiintay and ang tagal ng elevator. I have those moments when I press the elevator button, and voila, the elevator door opens! I come in straight and with an added bonus, I have the whole elevator to myself. I press the floor am going, and sped my way to my floor without stops. Nice.
