#194 Learning new and interesting words and slangs

It may be from the book you are reading, or the movie or an article from the internet. Or even in the news.

Learning that zeitgeist is the taste and spirit of the times, that moonson in tagalog is habagat, plethora means abundance or excess, necromancer is someone who communicates with the dead spirits or involved in black magic, and that paramour is a lover involved in an adulterous relationship.

I love looking up for terms in the dictionary, learning new words along the way, while finishing a novel.

Not just those english terms, it can also be those urban slangs like RAWR, which means i love you, or YOLO, you only live once, or what 'epic fail' means, or the meaning of imba!, or FTW!
